My go-to food!
Lately, I’ve been eating a lot of frozen fruit, basmati rice, frozen vegetables, Greek yogurt, ground turkey and gluten-free snacks! This food has the perfect texture and taste for me.
I’ve been craving a lot of lean ground turkey, Greek yogurt, and basmati rice, so I have been implementing them into my daily meals.
As someone with gluten sensitivities, I have to be careful of avoiding gluten, so I tend to consume gluten-friendly snacks, such as Popchips. For those who may not know, gluten is a protein that is found in wheat, barley, rye, and other items. My mindset is that it is better to be safe than sorry, so I always carefully read food labels and check if it is a certified gluten-free item.
In addition to eating gluten-free specific snacks, I’ve been frequenting the frozen food aisle because of the tendency of allowing some of my food expire. I had to throw away some fresh raspberries because they were stored in the back of the fridge. To avoid this, I like to have frozen food, such as frozen vegetables and frozen fruit! They’re a lifesaver!
Almost a year ago, I was diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, which is commonly known as ADHD. Frozen food helps a lot when your mind feels like it’s scrambled sometimes. There’s no pressure because the food will stay fresh longer than fresh food. Don’t get me wrong, I love fresh fruit and vegetables, but it can be overwhelming when the food goes bad quickly.
