Discussion time! 💕

 

Recently, I’ve been experiencing a heavy period flow and I’m sure that most people may wonder how I exercise while Aunt Ruby’s (menstrual cycle) in town. I’m not even going to lie, working out while on a cycle isn’t fun! I bloat, gain up to 5 lbs (temporary water weight) and I even have cramps. Thankfully, after my period, my weight goes back to normal and my bloating and cramps stop.

 

A few tricks help me during my cycle while exercising is:

  • Drinking plenty of water

  • Avoiding sugary food 

  • Using a heating pad!
